Lines & Crossed lines

Eyepiece Graticules are manufactured to high standards on 1.5mm thick glass, with diameters to suit your microscope Standard eyepiece Graticules are available in 16mm,19mm and 21mm diameters. Other sizes are available by special order.

• Single Line -NE50 Pattern

• Crosslines -NE8,  NE81,  NE82

• Broken Crosslines -NE56

• Crossed Gauge Lines - NE53,  NE54

Single Line - NE50 Pattern

Used for alignment or the measurement of large objects in conjunction with a graduated mechanical stage.
Single line, nominal width 0.02mm. The image covers the entire field of view. Surface chrome image.

Crosslines - NE8, NE81, NE82

Used as NE50 but for measurements in two directions and for sighting and alignment. The Image covers the entire field of view.

Broken Crosslines - NE56

Used as crossed lines. Broken lines enable fine detail to be seen at the breaks. A thin boundary would be lost behind a continuous line.

Crossed Gauge Lines - NE53, NE54

Used as crossed lines, but for measuring distances between lines. Greater accuracy can be obtained by locating the specimen detail between the graticule gauge pair.

NE54 Two vertical lines 0.2mm apart with horizontal line. Image covers entire field of view. Surface chrome image.
