This Blade breaker can be used to create an
"instant" disposable scalpel. Due to the unique nature of this tool,
the blades can be disposed of more frequently without the added
costs associated with conventional disposable scalpels or blades.
Blades can be custom sized to a particular application. To create an
instant scalpel follow the simple three step procedure below.

Step 1
Grasp the breakable blade and lock
the blade breaker with a simple squeeze of the handle.
The simple yet effective locking mechanism engages
automatically. This is a solidly made precision
instrument and the locking force is considerable. |
Step 2
While supporting the
blade against a flat surface twist the blade breaker
towards the blade. The blade will snap along the line of
the pincers. While this will work with most razor
blades, our Breakable Blades will provide an easier and
more controlled break. |
Step 3
The newly
created "Instant scalpel" is now ready for use. To
discard simply disengage the locking mechanism by
pushing back the spring loaded clip and open the
pincers. The blade can also be repositioned as required.
