Silver Enhancement Kit for Light and Electron Microscopy

Silver enhancing kits are a simple to use and sensitive system for the amplification of Immuno-gold labels in Light, Electron Microscopy and Blotting applications. The enhancement system gives 100x amplification of the gold signal by coating the gold particle to produce an increasingly black signal of silver metal.  

                                   Kit components: 15ml of Developer, 15ml of Enhancer.

Silver Enhancement kit for Proteins and Nucleic Acids

This kit designed for the amplification (up to 100x) of gold labelled dots on membranes. The mixed kit components metallic silver is deposited on the gold labelled proteins or nucleic acid.                                                                              

 Kit components: 250ml Developer, 250ml Enhancer.

Protogold^®  - Protein Staining Kit

Protogold^® staining solution has been specifically developed to give intense staining of proteins blotted onto membranes by dot blots or by electrophorectic gels. The stain is permanent and can be enhanced with Silver Enhancement kit (199-151).     

Kit components: 500ml of Protogold^® sol, 5ml of Detergent

Genogold^®  - Nucleic Acid Staining Kit

Genogold^® is a stabilised gold sol specifically developed to give sensitive staining of both double or single stranded DNA and RNA which have been immobilized onto suitable membranes.                                                                                

Kit components: 500 ml of Genogold^® Sol, 25ml of Activator

Biobond^™ - Tissue Section Adhesive

This adhesive comes in 20ml quantity   and is used as a 2% solution in acetone for slide coating.

Biomount^™ - Tissue Section Mounting Medium

Biomount^™ mounting media is specially formulated to reduce fading of Immuno gold/silver signals in sections on glass slides. It is suitable for wax or resin embedded sections of tissue.
