Support Films & Coated Grids
We offer a wide range of Formvar, Formvar / Carbon, and Pure Carbon support film on copper, and nickel grids in various mesh sizes. These support films meet the requirements of most applications in all sections of electron microscopy. Our coated grids will make your microscopy work easier and save a great deal of preparation time.

Formvar Coated Grids
These grids are coated with a
pure Formvar film,
but are NOT stabilized with carbon coating. It is a useful pure
plastic coated grid for special applications.
The thickness range is from 30 to 75 nm.

Silicone Monoxide
Silicone Monoxide offers an exceptionally clean, strong film, which can withstand considerable manipulation during specimen preparation. Since it is carbon free it is valuable for certain microanalysis investigations. It is stable under electron beam and less hydrophobic than carbon.
Available on 200 and 300 mesh copper grids.
