Large Grid Storage Box

This indexed storage box holds 100 grids. The plastics are treated to give them anti-static properties. The grids are located in indexed positions. When using the box, the minimum number of grids are exposed at any time. The sliding top has an extra access position in the form of a central cutout. Delivery from stock.

Numbered Large Grid Storage Box

This familiar grid storage box is now offered with an added feature, Each box carries its own unique number printed on the face and on one end. During use the number on the face can be easily seen thus eliminating the possibility of placing a specimen grid in the wrong box.

The number on the end facilitates the easy retrieval of the grid box from storage.

TEM-Specimen Grid Storage Box-SB50

This new grid storage box is designed for the handling, transporting and long term storage of 50 standard size TEM grids. The new ergonomic design incorporates several features that overcome the disadvantages with the “sliding cover” design grid storage boxes.

 

Features include:

• Clear cover can be rotated smoothly through 360°. Once moved from the park position, it exposes 2 or 3 diamond shaped holes at any one time.

• The blue arrow at the 12:00 o’clock position indicates the park position for the cover when not in use.

• The 50 diamond shaped holes have an alphanumeric reference system.

• Manufactured from material with anti-static properties. The cover moves freely, and remains in close contact with the face of the base

• Grid storage boxes with unique numbers on the face and one end are available. Please refer to Catalog # 325-20 or Catalog # 325-200.
   

These Storage boxes are designed to be stacked. The base locates precisely  over the face of another box.

Silicone Rubber Plate

Made from white silicone rubber the plate has numbered, square compartments. Excellent for organizing grids.

Designed for easy transportation, the grids will not slide or intermix between compartments. These plates are an excellent surface for staining grids or organizing serial sections. Square Silicone Plate

This square plate is the same as our round silicone rubber plate, but the form is square, 70mm by 70 mm And has 16 compartments. It is designed to fit a normal sized square Petri dish.

Grid Transporting Box

Designed to store and transport grids, this silicone rubber plate is housed in a two color plastic box with a transparent hinged lid. The silicone rubber plate has 54 individual compartments, 10mm square and each compartments can hold 3 grids. The grids adhere to the silicone plate and cannot migrate from square to square. The grids can be easily picked up from the mat.

Grid-Stick is manufactured from a thin, rigid alloy that does not react with commonly used organic solvents and stains. The Grid-Stick is 4mm wide by 75 mm long and has a slot along its center with small notches on one side which makes grid removal easy. Grid-Stick is coated with special adhesive. This adhesive holds the grids in place during the staining or other processes. The Grid-Stick will fit into a standard Pasture pipette. The Grid-Stick was developed in conjunction with the SynapTek™ Grids. Other grids may be used provided they are sufficiently thick. The SynapTek™ Grids are 100µm thick

The SynapTek™ Grid-Stick Kit consists of:

• 5 Grid-Stick

• 10 Pasture Pipettes

• 2 Rubber Bulbs with special plug

• 1 Instruction sheet.

Replacement Components:

Grid-Sticks (uncoated) These Sticks can be recoated with adhesive many times.

Staining Pipettes 20 special staining pipettes with top and bottom cap, and 2 flow limiting plugs.

Grid-Stick Adhesive will coat about 200 Grid-Sticks
and includes an applicator brush.
