Microsette® These innovative disposable Acetyl co-polymer biopsy cassettes can hold up to six tissue specimens, each on in it's own compartment, numbered from 1-6 and measuring 7 x 12 mm. These patented cassettes keep specimens safely submerged in solvent and are totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and insure proper drainage. The one piece integral lid can be opened and closed on three sides of cassettes. Disposable plastic tissue cassettes are suitable for processing, embedding, sectioning and storing tissue samples. Molded from high density polymer that is resistant to chemical action of histological solvents. The cassettes will fit in the microtome chuck adapter. The cassettes also accept standard stainless steel covers (H3450), which are sold separately.

Stainless Steel Cover

These covers will fit the H3400 series embedding cassettes. Made of stainless steel they have perforations and slot for fluid exchange and drainage. They snap over the open top of the embedding cassettes and fit snugly allowing for safe and consistent sample processing.

Compact disposable plastic histology cassettes to hold tissue specimens during the embedding process and as well as in a storage file. Molded from a special high-density polymer, totally resistant to the histological chemical solvents. One piece integral lid offers a positive lid closure for specimen safekeeping with a micro-lock, front lid has a large labeling surface for sample identification. Tissue Processing Capsules.

These Capsules are made of polypropylene and suitable for holding tissue samples during processing. The top and bottom of the capsules have an open mesh area to facilitate fluid exchange. The lids have a frosted write-on area for sample identification. The lids snap securely on the covers eliminating the risk of tissue loss during processing.

Biopsy Foam Pads

Biopsy Foam Pads.

These foam pads are made of blue polyester foam and has uniform air pockets throughout the pad for optimum solvent flow. It will prevents small or fragmented tissue specimens from being lost. The samples can be sandwiched between foam pads and placed in the tissue capsules or cassettes.

Storage Drawers.

These modular storage drawers made of high impact polystyrene and provide permanent storage of up to 165 embedding rings or 250 cassettes per drawer. Each drawer has interlocking ridges on the top and the bottom making them stackable.

Write-On™ Markers

These pens are excellent marker on the histology cassettes. The ink is specially formulated, will dry almost instantly and withstands temperatures up to 195°C, and resistant to solvents. Available in black and red colors.
