Polyethylene Molding Cup Trays

Durable plastic trays, ideal for molding specimen blocks embedded in JB-4 or other plastic embedding media and are used with block holder and aluminum chucks. These convenient trays are available in five sizes

Plastic Block Holder

These reusable block holders are manufactured from hard plastic. Frosted surface is for easy marking. The block holders can be attached to Aluminum Chucks. The large center hole prevents bubble formation. Packaged 50 block holders/ pkg.

Embedding Molds

The polyethylene molds are individual items and designed to produce ready mounted blocks in a choice of four sizes. The moulds are reusable and with care can be re-used several times.

Embedding Tray

The individual molds can placed in stackable embedding trays. Each aluminum tray holds up to 6 molds, which can be any one of the four types. The aluminum trays are durable and with reasonable care will last for years.

Embedding Stubs.

The stubs are manufactured in a rigid plastic. They bond to all resins and can be clamped in the microtome. The flange is 25mm in diameter (a 10 mm diameter flange is also available upon request). These stubs are available in two flange depths, shallow and deep (please see the table below) The stubs are inexpensive, can be written on and are intended to be  disposable.

Histological Embedding Molds.

With the routine use of resin embedding in the histological field, there is a demand for  molds to conveniently accommodate larger sections. These four, green silicone rubber moulds each accommodate four referenced blocks. The  base in each case is 25x25 mm. The area containing the material to be sectioned is available in  in four sizes. Sold individually
