Reusable Desiccant Canister
Desi-Can™ reusable canister is ideal for
desiccators. Small
perforated canister packed with an indicator silica gel, which is reversible. It
can be regenerated easily in a 150°C oven in about 3 hours. A monitor window
shows blue when recharged.

Dricap® Desiccant
These desiccant capsules are excellent for SEM specimen
boxes. The activated SiO2 is encapsulated in a moisture-permeable
cartridge made from clear cellulose acetate.
Type 11 desiccant weight: 0.97 g and 8x22mm in size
Type 14 desiccant weight: 1.85 g and 8x40mm in size

Disposable Desiccant Cartridge
For use in
desiccator cabinets or
non-vacuum desiccators. The clear
polystyrene dish allows instant visual inspection of silica gel, which changes
color from blue to pale pink as it absorbs moisture. If required, the desiccant
can be easily regenerated by heating the cartridges in a 50°C oven overnight.
Cartridges are individually sealed in aluminum foil.
Available in two sizes: 65mm diameter and 100 mm diameter

Desiccant in a Cartridge
Convenient, easy-to-handle desiccant cartridge fits into the
bottom section of standard plastic or glass desiccators. The cartridge consists
of a durable polyester-felt bag with a perforated Mylar® cover sealed in place.
It is filled with indicating silica gel which changes color from blue when dry
to pink when moist. Saturated silica gel can be regenerated in a 300°C vented
oven for 3 hours, or more depending on the size, until the blue color returns.
This gel can be reactivated repeatedly. The cartridges come in a sealed
moisture-proof pouch, ready to use.
