Hot Hand^® Protector

Made of strong silicone rubber. Designed for protection when handling hot or cold objects. The Hot Hand^® Protector has end pockets for thumb and fingers. The gripping surfaces are designed with built in suction studs for a non-slip grip. This strong silicone rubber material withstands tearing and temperatures as high as  260ºC .It  remains flexible as low as -57 ºC.

Clavies^® Autoclave Gloves

Soft all-cotton terry cloth gloves are excellent for handling hot objects. Heat resistant up to 232 ºC . Machine wash and tumble dry. Gloves are not water proof and cannot be used to handle dry ice. Two sizes are available: wrist (13cm) size and forearm (28cm) size.

Broken Glass Disposal Box

A handy receptacle for safety colleting broken glassware for disposal. Sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes are lined with a 2 mil thick polyethylene bags for proper handling. When the box is full, the safety cap is pulled into place and the entire unit is ready for disposal. It is packaged flat to store and easy transport, assembled quickly.

Available in two sizes:

Bench top Biohazard Bag

Autoclavable bags feature one long flap for ease in opening. Suggested for use with a desk size bag holder, it will provide a convenient, space saving, disposal unit for use in fume-hoods or on bench tops. These bright red-orange bags are made of high molecular weight, high-density polyethylene and printed with the biohazard symbol and a sterilization indicator patch. These bags can be used to pick up individual pieces of waste The bag is simply  turned inside out over the hand, then turned right side out with waste safely inside the bag. The bag measures 22 x 28 cm (8 ½ x 11”0

Labmat™ Liner

Disposable Labmat™ Liner safeguards the work surfaces from stains and spills. The flexible polyethylene film backing is non-skid and prevents soak-through of most solutions. The upper surface is highly absorbent and traps water, dyes and corrosive chemicals. Discard after contamination. The Liner is 50.8 cm wide the length is 15.2 meter. Packed in a handy dispenser.

Safety Glasses and Goggles

These safety glasses are intended for non-hazardous use. Lenses are clear acetate, side shield are slot vented for ample ventilation. Molded black nylon frames, earpieces and side shield.

Our safety goggles molded of soft, clear, flexible vinyl that conforms to the face and nose. With clear acetate lenses the goggles can be worn over regular eye-glasses, the four vents eliminate fogging.

Face Shield

This protective anti-plash face shield recommended where the possibility of excess boiling, splashing, spraying is a hazard.

Sharp Objects Disposal-Pouch

This safety pouch is ideal for sharp objects, scalpel blades, razor blades, needles. Epoxy coated steel wire stand provides a stable support for the pouch. Made of 10 mil thick solid paperboard which opens to an oval shape by folding bottom flaps. After the pouch is full, top flaps is close and lock in place for safe disposal.

Measures 14 x 33 cm flat.

Disposable Charcoal Cartridge

During metabolic labeling this disposable charcoal cartridge efficiently absorb low energy 35S radioactive components. The containment problem exists, such as methionine and cysteine which are used to label proteins.

The charcoal is supplied in a 100 mm diameter plastic Petri dish, with a highly porous membrane sealed to the top edge.
