Considerable difficulty has been encountered in critical point drying of very small samples and their subsequent recovery. In order to facilitate keeping small, delicate samples intact, our CPDA holder is a simple to manipulate sample container. The main body consists of approximately 100 micron holes. The pore size allows a good exchange of fluids.

Microporous Specimen Capsules
 

Microporous specimen capsules are disposable and solvent resistant (alcohol, acetone, chloroform, propylene oxide). These containers protect fragile specimen during critical point drying, preserving the three dimensionality for SEM observations. The capsules can also be used as storage vessels for specimen under desiccation, or specimen holder for EM processing.

No.1: 120 um - 200 um pore size
No.2: 78 um pore size
No.3: 30 um pore size
