Flat embedding molds are machined from PTFE Resin, for electron microscopy specimen embedding .These embedding molds are designed for use with methacrylate or acrylic resins like LR White,LR Gold, Lowicryl K4M, GMA or others.

ACLAR^® Film provides an oxygen barrier when flat embedding specimens for electron microscopy and light microscopy. It separates easily from epoxy and is chemically inert.

BEEM^® Embedding Capsules

Normal Size # 00
Beem embedding capsules are  made of polyethylene. The capsules are pre-shaped and produce pre-trimmed blocks. Comes with hinged cap and has a pyramid tip. Can be used in conjunction with the BEEM capsule holder Cat # 302

Small Size # 3

Made of polyethylene. Has the same design as #300, but smaller.The produced block is 5.6mm outside diameter, and has a pyramid tip. Can be used in conjunction with the BEEM capsule holder Cat # 302A

BEEM Embedding Capsules

( Hemi- Hyperboloid)

Made of polyethylene, size 00 with Hemi-Hyperboloid tip. Very useful embedding capsules for elongated tissue orientation. This capsules produce a 7.9mm outside diameter block with a hemi-hyperboloid tip.

BEEM Embedding Capsules

Normal size #00 Conical Tip

Conical tip embedding capsules, Size 00, made of polyethylene, comes with hinged cap. The capsules are also good for centrifuging precipitated matters.
Conical capsules produce 7.9mm outside diameter blocks with conical tip.

BEEM^®  Capsule Holder

This capsule holder has 22 cavities and holds capsules in an upright position during resin filling, and polymerization. It can be illuminated from the bottom for easy specimen orientation.
Available in two sizes: one holds capsule size 00,(#300, 301A, and 301B), the other holds capsule size # 3

This opaque BEEM^® capsule holder is well suited

for curing resin under UV or for microwaving  your embedding media . Holds all size # 00 capsules.

 Capsule Cutter

Capsule cutter is made of anodized aluminum block. Used with a single edge blade (#313 or 313A) to give easy and safe removal of blocks form any 8 or 6mm size capsules. Particularly useful with the harder polypropylene capsule

Taab Embedding Capsules

Taab manufactures an extensive range of high quality embedding capsules complete with air tight snap-on integral caps.. These capsules are 8mm diameter and available in polyethylene (soft) for low temperature embedding up to 60 °C or polypropylene (hard) for high temperature embedding up to 100 °C . This grade can also be autoclaved. There are two tip designs to choose from to produce blocks: truncated cone or truncated pyramid. Truncated cone ends in a 1.4mm diameter flat. A truncated pyramid has a 1mm square end a full flat end.

Micromoulds

Unitized plastic encapsulating moulds for embedding biological specimens prior to ultra-microtomy. The Mold is comprised of 10 capsules of 8mm internal diameter (equivalent to No.00 gelatin capsules) connected by a membrane numbered from 1-10. Capsules produce a block with a pyramid shaped tip. Requires little or no final trimming. 1mm square tip. This is a self-supporting mould.

Gelatin Capsules

These natural transparent capsules are made from hard colorless gelatin. These capsule are ideal for molding water miscible resins. They are UV transparent and are recommended for use with Lowicryl resins. Variety of sizes is available to fit most microtome specimen holders.
Also useful for storage, shipping and carrying small delicate specimens, calibration standards and apertures

 Easy Molds^™

Easy Molds™ a self standing embedding molds for sample preparation for electron microscopy. Available in two sizes: 8.0mm diameter, (#326-100) which correspond to Beem or Gelatin capsules size “00”, and 5.6mm diameter (#326-102) which corrrespond to BEEM^® or gelatin capsules size 3.
Free standing tray contains 20 embedding compartments, free circulation of air allows even polymerization. These polyethylene molds have “see-through” tips which facilitate rapid specimen orientation.
Polymerised blocks can be removed by pushing the bottom of the mold with your thumb, and the tissue embedded block will just pop out.
For anaerobic embedding resins –LR White, GMA-the molds can be sealed from air. Used molds can be utilized for storing already sectioned blocks, and the trays are stackable.
