Harris Micro-Punch
The Harris Micro-Punch® is a
unique, patented, scientific sampling device designed to
simultaneously cut, retrieve and store samples from various materials such
as paper, paint chips, cloth, films, tissue, films blood cards and many
other type of materials. This sampling technique is ideal for tissue processing or forensic applications. The
tips are made from high-carbon steel, heat treated to Rockwell
hardness Rc 65 and then individually sharpened.
The barrel and knob-screw assembly are constructed from molded,
high tech, lubricated plastic to eliminate sticking.
Each Harris Micro-Punch® is sold
with a protective plastic tip cover and a self healing Harris cutting mat
(204 x 151mm, 1.5mm thick). Replacement tips, plungers and mats
can be ordered separately

Harris Micro-Punch
Replacement Tips
The tips are made of
high grade carbon steel. Individually sharpened to a razor
edge for a long cutting life. Tips are available in diameters of
0.50, 1.00, 1.20, 2.00 and 3.00 mm.
