We offer a wide variety of silicone molds to suit your embedding needs. These molds are available in two types of silicone. The standard green silicone and a clear translucent version of the same mold which is very helpful for specimen orientation.

Flat Embedding Mold

This reusable mold is made of green silicone rubber. It is flexible and has 21 rectangular numbered compartments allowing easy orientation of  tissues. After polymerization the blocks can be released without difficulty by simply flexing the mold.

Mold size: 70 x 70 x 7 mm thick.

Round Embedding Mold

Mold is made of green silicone rubber. It is flexible and

produces six flat round disc blocks of 14mm diameter.
Successfully used in the embedding of large tissues.

The molds are reusable.

Small Embedding Mold

Green or translucent silicone rubber mold, with 15 unmarked cavities. Specimen block will produce trapezoidal shaped tips for each block, for easy trimming.

Mold Size: 68 x 68 x 8mm

Specimen Blocks :6.4 x 11.7 x 5mm

Large Flat Embedding Mold

With rectangles

Made of green or translucent silicone rubber, flexible and reusable. Contains 20 rectangular  compartments, producing pre trimmed blocks, and 8 rectangular depressions.

Mold size:  112 x 75 x 7 mm

Specimen Block: 6.4 x12.8 x 3.8mm

This mold will produce pre trimmed trapezoidal flat block shaped on both ends. Made of green or translucent silicone rubber, flexible and reusable. Capacity 20 numbered cavities.
